Have a good (Pre-Holiday) Weekend!

Do you have exciting plans for this last weekend before Christmas?

I think I'll be spending a lot of time at home, and I'm very happy about it. There's some serious cookie baking and house cleaning to do. Last night we watched Love Actually, and I'm hoping to watch Elf and maybe some more Hallmark movies today (fingers crossed for a good 80s TV star like Alyssa Milano!). Oh, and we will finally take in those LA Zoo lights on Sunday night!

Our shopping is all done...phew! The good thing about having to ship all your gifts to your families is it makes you get on the ball early! So everything is tucked snugly into their USPS boxes with care, with hopes all goes smoothly and gifts soon will be there.

This will be our third Christmas in LA, and I'm beginning to like staying home for the holidays. The hardest part, of course, is not seeing our families...although last year, Brandon's family came out to be with us! It was fantastic - it was in the 70s and 80s the whole time, and we all agreed it was very much the right choice. :o) So family members, if you are reading today's post - this is an open invitation to come hang out with us next Christmas!

I'll leave you with this gem...it's not exactly a positive affirmation, but it sure made me giggle.

Merry Christmas!
